Perhaps you should try opening it with a different program or possibly a different device. I'm able to access the file (which is the 1905 Norroena edition that you mentioned you are looking for) without any trouble. For what it's worth, I opened it on an Android mobile device using the Adobe Acrobat Reader version 15.3.1

Does anyone know of any editions of the Eddas/Sagas/etc that have the names of the people gods items etc translated into English?

Could you be more specific? Do you mean you wish to know what the names of the Gods/Goddesses mean specifically- or the non-English objects such as Yggdrasil, Mjollnir, Gulliveg, etc?

I remember this being posted years ago along with several other good pdf's. "Might is right" was posted here along with "The religious attitudes of the indo Europeans" by Dr. Hans Gunther. Perhaps a sticky tab with a collection of posted pdf's should be made. On the flip side I also enjoy the thought of new people to the forum reading old conversations and seeing they are not the first to walk these paths.
