I have been on what I would call a "Rune Quest".
I receive Graham Butchers emails about STAV training. I lost interest for a while. At the time I read some of his work and subscribed to his newsletter, I wasn't all that interested in the runes and had not done anything with the Younger Futhark.
I guess it went completely over my head that in STAV they only use the Younger Futhark.

It is interesting to me that they lay claim that it is 1500 years old and preserved by the Hafskjold family.
The Odin Brotherhood also only uses the Younger Futhark.
My interest in it is revived. I highly suggest anyone who is wanting to learn more about the Younger Futhark to do some studying about STAV.

Agreed. The perspective from Stav to the runes is quite different to the 'standard' rune books. I find it certainly compliments by providing new thought. I too urge people to look at the Younger Futhark, there is much to learn there. Stormr
